Another saline abortion survivor speaks out

Saline Infusion Abortion Survivor Speaks:

SIOUX CITY, Iowa, April 7 /Christian Newswire/ -- "On August 24th, saline infusion for an abortion was done but was unsuccessful. On August 27th, Pitocin drip was started. It was also repeated on August 28th. Pitocin drip was continued on the 29th. The baby was delivered spontaneously in bed by a nurse."

So began the life of Melissa Ohden, who survived the onslaught of the aforementioned saline infusion abortion, over the course of a five-day period, in August of 1977. What Melissa thought for years was her "birthday," is, in fact, her day of survival, her day of triumph over the certain fate of death by abortion.

By my best estimate, there are about 100,000 people in the US who survived prenatal attempts on their lives.

  1. Don't worry! We don't do saline abortions any more. And, if the pregnancy is far enough along that there is the slightest possiblilty of a born-alive, we stop the heart with an intracardiac injection before starting to take anything out.

Accidental live-births are a thing of the past. Not to worry!

  2. Such a caring person, OC. Nothing says "I love you" more than stopping the heart of a 32-40wk fetus! *rolls eyes*

  3. SegaMon, right-to-lifers fought hard to outlaw live-birth errors. So you should be glad that they are no more!

You know who was one of the big pioneers in intracardiac injection? Dr. George Tiller, since murdered by a right-to-lifist terrorist.

  4. I'm only glad that those who were born alive can remain alive.

Your comments always bring me a mixture of laughter from your stupidity and nausea from your disgusting beliefs.

  5. Congratulations on all you have accomplished for the unborn, by cracking down on born-alive errors! (nothing)

  6. You realize, OC, that all you're accomplishing is verifying to the lurkers that abortionists are indeed deliberately and with malice aforethought killing babies that could be born alive and survive to adulthood. Thank you for making my point for me.

  7. When have I ever denied that? I have always said, fetuses are persons and abortion is homicide. JUSTIFIABLE homicide.

    justifiable homicide
    Definition
    jus·ti·fi·a·ble hom·i·cide
    1. lawful killing: killing that is deemed to be lawful, especially because it is carried out in self-defense or as the only way to prevent a crime

How on earth can abortion be considered self defense or the only way to prevent a crime???

I have yet to hear of anyone needing to defend themselves from a newborn baby, especially a premature one...nor have I ever heard of a newborn robbing, murdering, or raping anyone.

I'm not confused as to how you could consider it justifiable homicide, because you simply can't. Don't get me wrong, I am pro-choice. Being pro-choice means I have the right to choose to NEVER have an abortion. However, your comment reminds me of gay bashers who quote the Bible. Do NOT try to justify your disgusting hate, stupid comments, bigotry, or ignorance by attempting to quote religious sayings, nor (as you do) attempting to sound halfway intelligent. Justifiable homicide is a defense in a case where someone honestly believes their life to be in danger, or believes a the commission of a crime is imminent. It in absolutely NO way applies to any type of abortion, except that in which the mother has a 100% guarantee that she will die by continuing to carry the child. Funny, though...I've never heard of such a case where a doctor is able to say with absolute certainty, 100%, carrying this child to term will kill you.

And by the way, I hate stupid people...yes, I do. I hate stupid people so much. You have every right to your opinion, but you do not have the right to be a complete idiot about it.
