Mrs. George W. Robinson, age 28, died at her Chicago home on August 18, 1901, from an abortion performed there that day. Dr. Muenster was arrested that day, and she was held by the Coroner's Jury.
And though this is off-topic, let me say that I'm very glad we've moved past identifying married women as if they were mere extenstions of their husbands. This woman had a name, and it wasn't George.
