Who decides who's human?

Prochoicers often insist that we have no moral obligation to protect the unborn because there is no legal protection for them. But like the unborn, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) had no legal protection in Missouri until 1976 -- when an extermination order was finally recinded!

Would these prochoicers say that it would have been morally acceptable for a serial killer to have prowled Missouri in the 1950s and 60s, as long as he preyed only on Mormons? Let's be serious! The govermnet can err, as it did with the Missouri extermination order, and as it did with Roe vs. Wade. A person's a person. It's wrong to exclude anybody from the human family based on religion, age, size, abilities, or location.
