Pro-Child/Pro-Choice?

We've all heard that bizarre slogan. But even the most hardened abortion proponent would have a hard time telling Germain Newman's mom how pro-child "choice" is. On June 14, 1984, 14-year-old Germaine had a second-trimester abortion performed by Dr. E. Wyman Garrett in Newark, New Jersey. She was 22 weeks pregnant. The next day her mother found her lying dead on the bathroom floor. An autopsy found that Germaine's abdomen was full of pus and adhesions. The cause of death was abdominal infection and perforation of the uterus.

Germain was only one of far too many children to pay with their lives for the myth that abortion is good for them:

And these are just the girls whose tragic stories I happen to know about. God alone knows how many others have died whose deaths didn't spark the lawsuits and investigations that bring these tragedies to light.
