Eliminate the guess-work! And the baby!

Allow 'active euthanasia' for disabled babies, doctors urge

Doctors in the UK are -- as a means of limiting late-term abortions, no less -- agitating for permission to start snuffing disabled newborns. I can see a certain amoral sense in it. Late abortions are much riskier to the mother than childbirth, and prenatal diagnoses aren't as accurate as ones done on newborns. So reduce the maternal risk, eliminate the guess-work, and get the ones you missed in-utero! Gosh, who could object? Aside from retrograde Neanderthals like me who think that babies are people, even babies with disabilities.
