Accountability at last for Pendergraft?

Is the tide turning against abortionists who do illegal third-trimester abortions? It could be!

The Florida Medical Board has fined abortionist James S. Pendergraft $10,000 and suspended his license for a year for having performed an illegal 3rd trimester abortion in his outpatient facility in 2005. Florida law only allows third-trimester abortions in hospitals, and only after two doctors attest that the abortion is necessary to save her life. Which means, of course, that all third-trimester abortions are illegal in Florida, since you can induce or do a c-section to save a woman's life if she's that sick or injured that late in the pregnancy. (HT: Birth Story) Pendergraft, of course, will rise like a malevolent phoenix, as he did after being jailed for extortion in 2001. Ashli at The SICLE Cell keeps pretty close tabs on Pendergraft, since he's the guy who pulled her baby out in pieces instead of referring her for help with her hyperemesis, despite the fact that she was crying and repeating that she didn't want the abortion but didn't know what else to do.

Enough of this turkey.

We have those four late-term abortion faclities in Barcelona that were raided recently. One facility had an industrial-grade grinder on the premises to prepare the aborted babies -- some as much as 8 months of gestation -- into the sewer system.

Might even Teflon Tiller and Planned Parenthood start being held accountable?

We can only hope.
