Define "private family decisions"

Barack Obama Statement: Reduce Abortions by Honoring Pro-Abortion Decision

To nobody's surprise, Obama took time on the anniversary of Roe vs Wade to celebrate in the name of "freedom of choice" the deaths of 50 million babies. Obama lauded the Roe decision as one that " not only protects women’s health and reproductive freedom, but stands for a broader principle: That government should not intrude on our most private family matters.”

1. How can you justify killing a child in the name of the mother's "health"? How can you justify messing with a healthy, natural process by means of sharp instruments and harsh chemicals in the name of "health"?

2. Calling abortion "reproductive freedom" is as much a misnomer as calling the gas chamber a "respiratory care center".

3. And if killing your child is a "most private family matter", then we owe John List a big apology, and ought to stop persecuting Caylee Anthony's mother.

So, one of his first acts as POTUS was to drive home that he wants prolifers to join him in celebrating abortion as a good, a right, a just practice.

Not in this or any other lifetime, Mr. Obama. Might I remind you of what you claim is a favorite Scripture -- albeit one you've evidently never actually read, studied, or thought about. Matthew 25. To be specific, Matthew 25:40:

"'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'"

Every child torn to bits with your blessing, Mr. Obama, is one you're going to be called on the carpet for when you meet your Maker. And though Jesus will be standing with you, we won't.

Yeah, we'll have our own sins we'll be accountable for. And we see no reason to add the blood of tens of millions of innocent children to the tally. You're more than welcome to shoulder that burden in the name of "reproductive freedom".

You might also, if you're the Christian you claim to be, re-think your "babies as punishment" paradigm in the light of the Scriptures:

Psalm 127:3 "Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him."

Babies aren't punishment. We're not going to join you in celebrating their destruction as a "freedom". Period. Paragraph.

Any questions?

  1. Christina,
I can't tell you how much I appreciate your knowledge and your gumption. I just finished introducing my husband to your blog and raving to him about you made me think I should rave to you, too.
Keep up your great work . . . until Hell freezes over!

  4. If I may just ask a question here cause I really don't understand?

You guys hate Obama because he is Pro Choice and that may lead to thousands of dead babies but you love Bush and he went to war in Iraq and Afghanistan and really did kill many thousands of people and destroyed G-d knows how many families and infrastructure - not to mention piss people off to the point they may want to do something that makes 9/11 look like a day in summer camp.

What exactly am I missing here? Please Christina, you can't be that irrational.

  5. Lilluput, the real question is why you object so much to the ACCIDENTAL deaths of innocent people in Iraq, when you applaud the DELIBERATE killing of innocent people in the womb to the tune of over a million a year in the US alone.

When you're ready to lay down your arms in the war against the innocent, then we can talk collateral damage in the war against violent aggressors.

  6. Lilliput,

I think you are not fully grasping what the Muslims have been doing since Mohammed, and what they will continue to do, and that is to seek for world domination, killing or subjugating whomever disagrees with them. Your local Muslim person may be friendly; but Muslims as a group -- especially those who attacked my country on Sept. 11 and those who supported them -- would not have stopped with that. Had Bush rolled over and played dead the way liberals act like he should have, it would only have emboldened our enemies. Bill Clinton did that when the World Trade Center was attacked *twice* during his presidency, and when the USS Cole was attacked, and when on of our embassies (I think in Africa) was attacked. Don't forget that the plot for Sept. 11 was hatched during Clinton's administration, and all the preliminary work was done then. What was the justification for the terrorists pre-Bush? The Crusades? A thousand freaking years ago?? Anyone who believes that is irrational, but so many people buy that crap. "Oh, if we just leave those nice poor terrorists alone, they won't kill us." Bull sh*t. "If we don't give them any cause to hate us they'll love us." Total garbage! They hate us because we are not Muslims. And they hate other Muslims because they are of the wrong branch of Islam. And they hate. They hate. They don't need anyone pissing them off to make them try to do something worse than 9/11. If we did nothing, they would only mount more of an attack. You just watch and see.

Oh, and you probably won't believe me, but this comes straight from the mouth of an American serving in Iraq -- when soldiers go in a convoy through villages and so forth, they have encountered many parents who will push their children in front of the vehicles so that they'll get $5000 from the United States due to the accidental death "we" caused. They kill their freaking kids deliberately for $5000. So spare me the talk about pissing off people due to the war.
