Bet this won't get as much airplay as Angie's Twitter Abortion

Embedding is disabled, so you have to go to YouTube to see this graphic video. I'll share the text:

Are you thinking about having an abortion?

I WAS THINKING ABOUT ABORTION

After deliberating for hours at Planned Parenthood, I hesitantly decided to go through with the procedure at 9 weeks -- MEDICAL ABORTION.

THIS IS MY STORY

The Planned Parenthood nurse had assured me that at 9 weeks all I'd pass would be blood clots & fluids.

After taking the second dose of Misoprostol, what I lost changed my life forever.

I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO PUT INTO WORDS WHAT I FELT AT THIS POINT.

IT WAS HORRIFICALLY DEVASTATING!

I DECIDED TO TAKE A CLOSER LOOK.

I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SEE SOMETHING AS DISTINGUISHABLE AS MY PERFECTLY FORMED UNBORN BABY COMPLETE WITH ALL 10 FINGERS AND TOES.

WARNING! The images you are about to see are very disturbing! These photos have not been retouched or altered in any way. What you see IS EXACTLY what I saw!

THIS IS WHAT I SAW

She shows us photos of her intact 9-week fetus.

She placed a dime next to her baby for scale. Her baby's torso would fit on the dime.

In profile, you can see the eye, ear, arm, hands, legs, feet, and toes.

She uses a bobby pin to lift up the tiny hand and tiny foot to show you the fingers and toes.

I'm not sure why she put her baby in a teaspoon, except perhaps to show how tiny he or she is.

I decided to lay the baby to rest.

I know that it sounds a little crazy to say that I buried my unborn 9 week old fetus.

It just seemed like the right thing to do. The least that I could do after making this horrible mistake!

My best friend gave me a little white box that was the perfect size for my baby to rest in.

I buried my baby February 9, 2009, at my favorite spot Near three trees

THINKING ABOUT ABORTION?

PLEASE THINK AGAIN!

She'll never get the attention Atheist Angie got for tweeting a chemical abortion. But she does a thousand times more to really demystify it.

    Angie did herself no favors

Great post, Christina. It won't get the media frenzy for one simple reason: because it's the truth and it's not what people want to hear.

Youtube just yanked this video. Unreal.

  3. Big surprise, youtube yanked it. There's NOTHING liberals hate more than women who regret their abortions (and have the audacity to speak up about it). Apparently "trust women" only applies in select circumstances.

My prayers for the woman and her baby. I hope she finds peace and healing in Christ.

  4. I knew Youtube was going to pull it. I clicked on the link hoping to use my Real Player video to download it.

Real Player will download YouTube videos with no hassle. Hint: install it and use it to download such videos in the future.

You can upload it up on http://www.gloria.tv

They are supportive of exposing abortion.

I got a couple screenshots before it got yanked (I reblogged this0 had I known they were going to pull it that soon I would have gotten more.

  6. We need to lobby YouTube, which right now takes a pro=censorship slant. Whiners can complain about a video and get it yanked, but free speech advocates can't express their support for a video.

  7. Again, this is something I don't understand. This women is obviously highly IT literate. In her agonizing about her pregnancy could she not google nine week fetus to find out what it looks like? I don't believe her shock was that she didn't know what it looked like but rather she is shocked at the pain and loss she felt - rather then the relief she thought she would feel.

Either way, I think her video and the burial ceremony will hopefully help her through her bereavement and remind her to be extra vigilant with birth control.

  8. Lil, people who are stressed out don't always think very clearly. In fact, they don't tend to think much at all. They get into "flight or fight" mode. Like a drowning man, they reach for the nearest plank. And if they believe what they've been told about how places like Planned Parenthood give them "all the factual information" and provide "options counseling," they go in trusting that they'll be told anything they need to know.

  9. Christina, in that state, even with all the information available - can you really make a decision?

  10. Lil, I'd say that the abortion-minded woman is, like the suicidal person, by definition not in any state to make the decision in question. We don't let stressed out depressed people just say, "I can't COPE!" and hand them a .45 and instruct them on how to ensure they blow their brains out rather than just blow off their jaws. And if somebody came to you saying they couldn't cope with their new baby, you'd not help them stuff the baby in a trash bag to suffocate it.

Certain decisions are just wrong. We as a society GET that with murder and violent assaults and rape and so on. We used to get it with suicide, but now we're thinking that disabled and sick people MUST be rational in wanting to die, because, you know, ICK! People think "I'd not want to live like THAT," forgetting that depression and even suicidal ideation are NORMAL when somebody is under a lot of stress.

We normalize the killing, when once upon a time we realized that it is really a sign that the person needs help. Now, "help" takes the form of a lethal drug cocktail or a suction catheter instead of in addressing what's making the person so desperate in the first place.
