To my knowledge, her family never went public, so I will respect their privacy and refer to this young woman as "Jeanne Peterson."
The date of the abortion isn't noted on the death certificate, but the doctor who filled it out noted that he had treated Jeanne from July 15 until her death. If this is the date he began "treating" Jeanne, this might also be the date of the abortion.
At around 3:30 am on August 6, Jeanne was diagnosed with septic shock.
Her condition deteriorated. She went into cardio-respiratory failure around mid-afternoon on August 7.
Doctors must have fought hard to save her, because it wasn't until about 15 hours after the first signs of cardio-respiratory failure, 6:25 am on August 8, that she was pronounced dead.

He treats the girls or women carrying children or devastated from their abortions as friends and neighbors in his home town, not afterthoughts.
