One more for Boxer and NOW to blow off

Today, July 8, is the anniversary of yet another safe-n-legal abortion death.

Junette Barnes, mother of four, had undergone a tubal ligation on June 16, 1988. One week after this operation, she found out that she had been pregnant at the time of the surgery, and was still pregnant. She saw her family physician, Dr. Ted Shields on July 8, 1988, and he performed an abortion on her at Surgicare Outpatient Center in Victoria that day. During the abortion, he perforated her uterus and cut an artery and several veins. Junette was transferred to a hospita, where she died of blood loss during emergency surgery.

Now, all together prochoicers: tell Junette's kids how fortunate they are that their mom was able to secure a legal abortion, and didn't die from one of those horrible illegal abortions. But they're probably as dense as prolifers and won't be able to grasp what lucky kids they are.
