Allegra Roseberry died in 1988 after being tricked into an unwanted abortion. Her doctors falsely told her that her pregnancy would make her ineligible for an experimental cancer treatment program, and that her 23 week fetus was "doomed" anyway. Allegra hadn't known she was pregnant because she'd needed fertility treatments 20 years earlier to conceive her son and her pregnancy symptoms were attributed to the cancer and medications.
