1983: Teen loses three-month battle for her life after abortion punctures her bowel
Seventeen-year-old high school student Sharon Davis died on January 9, 1983, in a hospital in Tucumari, New Mexico. She had been fighting for her life against an infection she had developed after a safe, legal abortion performed September 20, 1982 at 14 weeks into her pregnancy. The doctor had punctured her uterus and bowel.

Anniversary: Septic legal abortion kills New Mexico teen
Sharon Davis was a 17-year-old high school student, 14 weeks pregnant, when she submitted to an abortion at a hospital in Tucumcari, New Mexico on September 20, 1982. Her uterus and bowel were perforated, and she developed an infection. For over three months, she was treated for her infection before it finally killed her on January 9, 1983.

New Mexico abortion facility torched
Eyewitness Accounts Confirm Arson In Abortion Clinic Fire
Abortion Acceptance of Albuquerque, New Mexico, run by National Abortion Federation founding member Curtis Boyd, was damaged by fire late Thursday night. The fire was quickly contained and the damage seemed to have been limited to one office.
Witnesses described seeing two men in hooded sweatshirts throwing gas into the building and torching it -- after one witness had called out to them and let them know they'd been seen!
The whole thing smells pretty fishy to me, but unlike the abortion lobby, which is already assuming that prolifers are behind the fire, I'll not speculate. We can all thank God that nobody was injured, and pray that the perpetrators are caught and that their motives are discovered. Those of us who recognize the harm abortion does can also lament that the fire has in no way diminished Boyd's enthusiasm for the practice and he's reportedly scraping women out at another location.
Boyd also owns Fairmount Center in Dallas, Texas, where he performed the fatal abortion on Vanessa Preston.

Anniversary: After abortion, woman takes her own life
Carol Cunningham was 21 years old when she underwent an abortion in the late summer of 1986. On August 22, she shut herself up in her garage at her home in Albuquerque, and started her car. She died from breathing the exhaust fumes. Her body was discovered on August 25, 1986.
Other post-abortion suicides I'm aware of include Arlin della Cruz, Sandra Kaiser, "Sandra Roe", and Stacy Zallie. Laura Grunas was so distraught after her abortion that she killed not only herself but also her baby's father.
