Although our society calls being a homemaker "opting out", I believe it is "opting in" to making a real difference with children's future. Motherhood is one of the most important jobs there are and it's an absolute profanity to suggest donating to PP in "honor" of mothers!
My husband and I are (obviously) a military family, and therefore of somewhat modest means, but we are firmly committed to giving life to every child that God helps us create. No matter how "inconvenient" the child may seem to someone else.
Christina, I want to thank you for all the work you do with your blog and the nonprofit you work with. When I was younger, I used to believe assorted falsehoods associated with the abortion industry ("for the woman's health", "it's only a blob early on", and "back-alley coathangar", most notably). Thank you for helping me learn the vile truth about these lies. Now I know that abortion is never appropriate under any circumstance.

That is so wrong on so many levels.
