October 10, 1939: Death at a New York Hospital

According to New York death records, a 21-year-old waitress named Eileen Lowney Creitz died on October 10, 1939 at Norwegian Hospital in Brooklyn. Her death was attributed to "septic endometritis, peritonitis & septicemia" from a criminal abortion.

Eileen has been born around 1918 to Edward and Anna Lowney. According to New York marriage records, she had married her husband, Herbert, only late the previous summer. They had been married less than three months.

Eileen was buried at St. Charles Cemetery.

I've been unable to find any other information about Eileen.
