Is this how accurate their information is when they talk to patients as well?

Did Planned Parenthood commit fraud against Aurora, or are officials in on it?

Looking at PP's stealth facility in Aurora, Illinois. They built the building as Gemini Office Development LLC, and evidently city council thought that it was going to be a nice, quiet office building:

Alderman Elmore: And the townhomes there are pretty nice people; I don't.... have not presented this to them so they're not aware of it but I think that they are aware that the property would be developed. .... and the fact that it's an ovvice rather than commercial, they should be very happy. llll It's a nice buffer between them and the retain center, and these usually are pretty quiet because they usually function in the daytime and that makes it nice. I'd be interested to know who your client is, when you can release that.

But Gemini Office Development LLC, it turns out, is a subsidiary of PP. They built the building with the inention from the start of springing a full-fledged PP on the city. From the Chicago Tribune:

"Frankly, I'm surprised we were able to keep it a secret for so long," said Steve Trombley, president and chief executive officer of Planned Parenthood/Chicago Area.... "We didn't want anything to interfere with the opening...."

That the clinic was kept hush-hush for so long was no accident. Planned Parenthood adopted the strategy after a 2004 boycott by contractors stalled work for two months on a clinic in Austin, Texas....

And just look at their application for signage. They pretended that they didn't know who would be using the building. But their liason with the city council claimed to have been very up-front about it:

Trombley said Planned Parenthood was open with city staff and committee members about the development being used as a doctor's office.

"They don't inquire of other providers (which types of medical services will be offered)," he said. "We were very open about the fact we were putting a medical office there."

Not to put too fine a point on it, but this strikes me as more of Planned Parenthood's standard "Don't tell them anything that might lead them to make a choice we don't want them making. Lie if you have to. Let them find out on their own when it's too late." Like the way they told my babysitter that her 8-week fetus was "just like a blood clot". She told me she'd never have had the abortion had she known her baby had a beating heart.

ADDENDUM: Were they itching for a fight? They chose to open this stealth facility in the very city where Joe Scheidler's son, Eric, lives. Why not just put your KKK headquarters building in the town where Al Sharpton lives?
