When I got back to the US, my daughter had a Virgin Mobile phone she wasn't using it, so I activated it. When I ran out of minutes I got a message that I needed to "top up". So I went to their web site and priced minutes and decided to go for their 1000 minutes for $50.
The next day I get an email telling me I have to pay a $24.99 monthly fee and that MY MINUTES WILL BE BILLED AT TWENTY CENTS A MINUTE! They scammed me out of fifty bucks!
So, who can reccommend HONEST cell phone service? I am demanding a refund of my fifty bucks and I can't get free of Virgin Mobile RIPOFF SCAM COMPANY fast enough.

Avoid Verizon-their customer service is awful, and they charge you money to leave them, even if you leave them because they suck!
Unfortunately finding a decent phone or cable company is a real chore.

I have had Verizon- Horrible customer service and they do charge you to leave them after they have charged you out the nose for service and do NOT GO OVER.. Ouch. I have had sprint-good customer service and 5$ per 100 minutes you go over but bad coverage. We have At&t now and they have rollover minutes and they are pretty good so far. Had them a year with no scam or trouble.
Thanx, guys!
file a chargeback, like I did they scammed me same way, they sent me invoice / recipt only for amount of topup but once I gave them my credit card they charged me monthly fees, without any notification, so I did chargeback and they had to pay chargeback additional bank fees, do the same so they will stop this fraudulent activity if they will have to pay penalty fees to the banks. After that they suspended my account , no problem you can go to different company, like I did, and I filed additionally a claim for refund for the phone which didnt work.
I agree that virgin mobile is the biggest scam ever. I wish that I stuck to my old cellphone company. These guys are awful in every way
all depent of the education of the child, for example I bought a BlackBerry to my son, he is fourteen years-old, and in occassion he resived a message that said "do you want to taste Kamagra?" in that moment he gave the cell phone, and we talk about you know, you have to keep a eye over them all the time.
