Searches: Lysol douche, stem cells, our pal Hodari, and more

  • Lysol douche ads. These are for real! Which may go a long way to explain the "Lysol abortion" stories that are so popular with abortion advocates. If women believed Lysol was safe to douche with, then trying a Lysol abortion wasn't such a far-out act of despair as it would seem to modern eyes.

  • Stem cells prolife prochoice. It's more pro-science versus pro-pie-in-the-sky, since adult stem cells are providing real treatments for real patients, while embryonic stem cells have so far produced nothing but dead lab rats and "desastating" side effects with no sign of a cure. The Antichrist was supposed to actually produce the "signs and wonders". But he's roping them in with the mere promise of "signs and wonders". Chalk one up for Screwtape.

  • Alberto Hodari (pictured), the Detroit abortion provider and National Abortion Federation member who provided fatal reproductive health care services to Tamia Russell and Chivon Williams, and is beloved of Medical Students for Choice, remains a popular search.

  • People come searching about Curtis Boyd's Arizona abortion facility that was torched recently. Of course, abortion advocacy groups are keening about the "attack on vital reproductive health care services", as if 1) it's already been verified that the intent of the arson was to "deny" women "access" to fetus-killing, and 2) abortion has diddly-squat to do with reproductive health care in the first place. (Why is it that all the stuff that PREVENTS people from reproducing is framed as "reproductive health care"? It's like calling the gas chamber a "respiratory care center".)

  • Dr. Jakubowski is that rarest of rare birds: an abortionist that an abortion-rights group actually tried to shut down. I've only seen this happen once before, and the target there was Steve Brigham. Oddly, there seems to be no connection whatsoever with how heinous a provider's behavior is and the response from abortion-advocacy groups. When Bruce Stier abandoned Sharon Hamplton with fatal results, prochoicers actually set up a legal defense fund for him. Go figure.

  • Deloris Smith was one of two teenage abortion patients that National Abortion Federation member Atlanta Women's Pavillion managed to fatally injure simultaneously.

  • Florida abortion regulations? In your dreams! When the Miami Herald did its expose on seedy abortion mills, Janis Compton-Carr of the National Abortion Federation founded FLAC (Florida Abortion Coalition) to fight any regulations the state might try to enact. In Compton-Carr's own words: "In my gut, I am completely aghast at what goes on at that place. But I staunchly oppose anything that would correct this situation in law." So I think we can lay some responsibility for the deaths of Carolina Gutierrez, and Pamela Colson on Ms. Compton-Carr, since she was instrumental in defeating measures that might have protected these women from the vultures who killed them.

  • Psychosocial adaptation in pregnancy -- In a nutshell, ambivalence and rejection are normal and tend to be self-limiting. But that doesn't stop the abortion lobby or abortion "providers" from cashing in on them. Just don't tell the woman it's normal. Tell her it means she'll be a bad mother. In other words, lie through your teeth. In the name of "choice".

  • Teenage back-alley abortion stories? Check out the 71 teen deaths I have here, and decide for yourself which ones qualify as "back alley".

  • Robert Alexander, abortion provider. A charming man, I'm sure. If you don't mind having your bowel sucked into your uterus.

  • Abortionist outreach. More on this later. I have to get ready for work!
