Searches: Stats, saves, survivor, Steve, and then some

  • Illegal abortion death statistics. Not what the abortion lobby would have you believe.

  • Eduardo Verástegui: saving lives by making a movie.

  • Baby Claire lost an arm when a doctor in Korea attempted to abort her. She was adopted by the daughter of US prolife activist Jean Garton.

  • Steve Infante remains a popular search. He's the 51-year-old Connecticut man indicted on charges relating to sexual abuse of a girl beginning when she was 14. He'd taken her for an abortion at age 17 to cover up the abuse.

  • Dr Curtis Boyd's clinic in Albuquerque got torched under the fishiest of circumstances. I'm waiting to see what they find when the dust settles.

  • Leroy Carhart sued for botched abortion. My information is out of date and centers on allegations raised by a disgruntled employee. He's reportedly the guy who performed the fatal abortion on Christin Gilbert at George Tiller's late-term abortion facility in Wichita, Kansas. Does anybody know if there's a new case?

  • Regina P. Lederman is the author of the excellent book, Psychosicoal Adaptation in Pregnancy: Assessment of Seven Dimensions of Maternal Development. I note, and comment on, some of her observations here. Buy it here.

  • Geri Santoro is literally the poster child for legal abortion advocacy. A photo of her, naked on the motel room floor where her married lover left her to die, is circulated by those who claim that legalizing abortion had put an end to such tragedies. Guess again.
