Great news story: Former abortion mill converting to teen parenting center

Former Abortion Clinic To House Teen Parent Center

(HT: Pro Life News)

It's a nicely done story, and I was struck by the comparative investment in time and personal effort the staff of the teen parenting center take with each client, versus the in-and-out, "You rape 'em, we scrape 'em" interaction these girls would get at an abortion clinic. I saw the contrast between how much individual investment prolifers versus abortion staff put into women when I examined an old episode of Frontline.

I think this is part of why the idea of readily available legal abortion is so popular with some people. Is your friend or loved one pregnant and facing difficulties? The prochoice way is to pat her hand and offer to drive her to the abortion clinic. Your total investment: Less than one day. The prolife way is to help her to tackle her problems one by one. You have to continue to be there for her. It's not a single afternoon out of your life and then you never need to give it another thought.
