I'd promised more on Lichtenberg

A suit filed as "Jane Doe" alleged that an abortion had been attempted by Evan Saunders at Planned Parenthood in Chicago on August 27, 1993. A second abortion was done by Steve Lichtenberg at Family Planning Associates Medical Group on September 1. Jane faulted both Saunders and Lichtenberg with failure to determine that her persistent and increasing pain was not normal, failure to properly monitor her, and negligently discharging her from the facility. She suffered infection and scarring.

Yvonne G. alleged that she underwent an abortion by Dr. Lichtenberg at the Chicago FPA facility on August 5, 1989. She said Lichtenberg failed to determine what procedure was proper, and failed to perform an adequate post-operative exam and pathology testing. Yvonne required emergency treatment at a hospital on August 25, to treat her for retained portions of the fetus and placenta, infection, and bleeding. (Cook County Circuit Court Case No. 91L13681)

Shytaura G., age 14, alleged that she had an abortion at Albany by Steve Lichtenberg on February 23, 1989. The suit blamed the clinic for having "incompetent and unskilled personnel," and failure to take an adequate medical history and determine proper gestational age. Shytaura suffered a lacerated uterus and cervix at the facility. The suit alleged failure to monitor her condition and stop her extreme bleeding. Shytaura had to undergo a hysterectomy. (Cook County Circuit Court Case No. 94L06529)

Oddly enough, I can not find any Steve, Steven, or Stephen Lichtenberg licensed to practice medicine in Illinois.
