Another woman in Ghana dies after husband forces abortion

General News of Saturday, 1 April 2006
A 40-year old mason who felt six children is enough for them has forced his wife to abort their seventh child resulting in her death.

....

The woman who initially objected to her husband's suggestions discussed the problem with a co-tenant, Beatrice Kesseh, 32, seamstress who led her to Alimi Clinic at Madina.

So we have the guilty husband, forcing a woman into an unwanted abortion. Then we have a neighbor who, instead of helping the woman, sides with the husband.

At least those responsible are being punished, which is a far cry from the situation in the US, where the most a guilty abortionist will get is a, "Naughty, naughty!" note from the medical board.
