I was in Buffalo last night on business. I checked the Yellow Pages, as is my habit when I'm in a hotel room, and I noticed a familiar name offering abortion services: Morris Wortman.
The trouble was, I couldn't place the name.
When I got home, I checked. Dr. Morris Wortman is the fellow who allowed 17-year-old Glenna Jean Fox to bleed to death after an abortion in 1989.
There Wortman is, still in business, plying his trade. Glenna Jean's death didn't cost him diddly-squat.
The women die and the mill grinds on. Or in this case, a 17-year-old girl with her whole life ahead of her dies, and the mill grinds on.
When are we as a nation going to start to care? When will we treat women and girls like more than grist for the abortion mill?
