On May 1, 1925, 26-year-old Mary Sayers died at a Chicago residence from a criminal abortion performed on her that day. Midwife Edna Marie Dietrich was arrested the following day.

In 1925, 5,697 women died of puerperal (childbirth-related) septicemia and 9,618 women died of "other puerperal causes."

That's 15,315 women (in 1925 alone) with no place in your "Cemetery of Choice" because they died doing what you think all women should have to do.
