Anniversary: Fatal embolism

Thirty-six-year-old Kathy McKnight underwent an abortion on September 17, 1993. Early the next morning, Kathy had trouble breathing. She was taken to University Memorial Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kathy died in the emergency room. Her autopsy revealed that she died of a pulmonary embolism.

I came across your blog while searching on abdominal pregnancies (an article of yours popped up from March 06). You make mention of an article you wrote after researching cases but it's no longer accessible. Is there another way to it? I'm not sure how to contact you but I'd love to read it. I successfully delivered an undetected abdominal pregnancy at 36 weeks in July 04. I'll check back to this comment section to see if you can give more info on what you were able to find.

My blog is http://castlemansinms.blogspot.com Somewhere in there (perhaps spring of 07) is reference a pathology medical journal on my son, or rather, his/my placenta!

If the link is broken, I have no way of knowing where it got to. When I get a chance maybe I'll do a search and look and see if it's anyplace else.

I'll check out your blog as well. Congrats on the miracle baby!

Thanx.
