One less pervert abortionist practing

In theory, anyway. Nabil Ghali lost his license but turned up in Ohio, doing abortions and raping patients. It's like playing Whack-a-Mole with some of these guys; they just keep popping up.

But back to the newest pervert abortionist: Operation Rescue Blog Archive: Sex Offender/Abortionist Laurence Reich Surrenders License!
Abortionist Laurence Reich agreed Tuesday to surrender his license and stop performing abortions in order to avoid a disciplinary hearing stemming from his "no contest" pleadings on two criminal counts of sexually abusing his patients.

However, Reich will be allowed to continue as Medical Director of Clinica Medica Para La Mujer De Hoy until April 14, in an effort to allow him to "close or sell his practice."

Reich was so bad that even Barbara Boxer wanted his license yanked. (Though I'm not sure anybody told Boxer Reich was an abortionist. That might have changed her mind!)

And, in a lucky coincidence, I've just found this story about a botched abortion at Clinica Medica Para La Mujer De Hoy:
A woman was rushed to the hospital by ambulance on Saturday, February 11, 2006 after a botched abortion at Clinica Medica Para La Mujer De Hoy located in Santa Ana, California. Pro-life sidewalk counselor Tim Nissen [said she] was "awake and screaming" as she was wheeled from the front door of the abortion mill and loaded into an awaiting ambulance.

The Santa Ana office of Clinica Medica Para La Mujer De Hoy is part of a chain of extremely troubled abortion mills owned by restaurateur Bertha Bugarin. In the past five years, three of her abortionists have lost their medical licenses, one abortionist dropped out of sight after being exposed as having no medical license, and two abortionists have been convicted of sex crimes ranging from groping to sexual assault on a patient.

Here's more links on this mill:

Question: How come it's the woman-hating right-to-lifers keeping tabs on these perverts and quacks? Why aren't the prochoice doing this? Isn't it their responsibility, having insisted on making abortion legal and readily available, to ensure that women aren't just walking into main-street maimers?
