March envy

I guess bianblog has March envy after seeing all the blogging about the March for Life, because he/she/it felt compelled to blog about the so-called "March for Women's Lives" back in 2004:
March organizers claimed 1.15 million people attended, other estimates put it at more than 800,000. Either number would make it the largest protest in United States history.

My response?
I'd like to know which women's lives the participants were marching for, because they certainly weren't marching for the lives of the women submitting to abortions. They continue to die needlessly.

You gotta hand it to them, though. What other movement gets to kill women, then blame the opposition for the deaths?

Anybody got any reliable stats on how many folks actually showed up to show their enthusiasm for abortion and their hatred for conservatives in general and Bush in particular?
